#### Hosts operating a small business on Turo can add their limited liability company (LLC) designation to their account. 

## How to add an LLC designation to your account

1.  Log onto turo.com — you can’t change this on the app
2.  Choose **Business** from the Host menu and open the **Earnings** tab
3.  Scroll down and tap **“Tax information”**
4.  Under **Documents**, tap **“View my tax documents”** to display your current information
5.  Click on **“Update info”** 
6.  Select **“Business”** and answer the US resident entity question
7.  Select **“Limited liability company”** from the drop down menu and choose your LLC type
8.  Tap “**Next”** to finish the form and save changes

**Note:** You can only add an LLC designation to your account if you’re a US resident entity.

**Tip:** Be sure to consult your tax professional before making any decisions that could affect your tax obligations.
