#### When you book a trip for more than 30 days, the following terms apply in addition to the **[Terms of Service](https://turo.com/policies/terms)** and the terms of your car sharing agreement.

Your reservation will be a series of consecutive, automatically renewing 30-day trips. You’ll receive a separate car-sharing agreement for each 30-day segment, which you can access in your account.

## Payment for monthly trips

The Turo system will calculate and charge you equal monthly installments every 30 days based on the trip’s average daily price.

If we’re unable to process one of your payments for an installment and you can’t update your payment method, the Turo system will shorten your trip and update your trip end date on the **Details** page of your trip.

## Payment schedules for monthly trips

For all monthly trips, the payment for the first 30-day segment is due at booking.

All subsequent payments for “Pay as you go” monthly trips are due seven days before the start of the next 30-day segment of your trip.

However, if you chose the non-refundable option at booking, all subsequent payments for your trip are due _30 days_ before the start of the next 30-day segment of your trip. This means for non-refundable monthly trips, your second monthly payment is due on the first day of your trip.

The Turo system will send a reminder email for all monthly trips three days before your next payment is due.

If you chose the non-refundable option for your monthly trip, all payments are non-refundable, unless your trip is canceled during the 24-hour grace period after booking. If you shorten your trip during a 30-day installment, you forfeit any payment made, regardless of when the trip ends, except in rare cases under Turo’s [Extenuating circumstances policy](https://help.turo.com/extenuating-circumstances-policy-or-guests-rkoBEVlVc).

## Other terms

#### Trip modifications

You may request to extend your trip any time after you book or during your monthly trip. Trip extensions are subject to vehicle availability and host approval. Learn more about [extending your trip](https://help.turo.com/extending-or-shortening-your-trip-BypBE4eVc).

You may shorten your trip at any time. However, shortening a trip may affect the total mileage included in your trip, and if your trip is a non-refundable monthly trip, you’ll forfeit any payments already made. Review your payment schedule and the **Details** page of your trip to ensure you understand the consequences of any modification.

#### Maintenance

Hosts are responsible for routine vehicle maintenance. You must immediately notify the Host of any accidents, required maintenance, and other similar events. Learn more about [managing vehicle maintenance for monthly trips](https://help.turo.com/managing-vehicle-maintenance-for-monthly-trips-guests-BkLb0seex).

#### Miles included

Your trip may have a certain number of miles included, which you’ll see before you book. Once booked, you can view your miles included in the **Details** page of your trip.

Be mindful that this is a total mileage amount for the entirety of your trip, including all monthly segments. If you exceed the mileage included in your trip, you’ll be subject to overage fees.

If you choose to extend or shorten your trip, your total miles included may change. Review any modification carefully to understand how it may affect your trip.
