# Airport permit policy > This policy addresses a hosts responsibility for adhering to the guidelines that govern host delivery activity at airports where Turo has a signed permit in pl Source: https://help.turo.com/en_us/airport-permit-violation-policy-HJXOrOp_A Last updated: 2026-09-02T15:45:50.349Z #### This policy addresses a host’s responsibility for adhering to the guidelines that govern host delivery activity at airports where Turo has a signed permit in place. ## Policy Turo has delivery permits at airports [in the US](https://help.turo.com/us-airport-delivery-information-or-hosts-Hkc1LEl4q) and [in Canada](https://help.turo.com/canada-airport-delivery-rJyyrtlU5) that govern host and guest vehicle drop-off and pickup activity there. Behavior guidelines, including a list of permitted drop-off and pickup parking locations, are included in [each airport article in our Help Center.](https://help.turo.com/categories/arranging-airport-delivery-SJ0BVlV9)    Hosts who deliver to any of Turo’s permitted airports are prohibited from engaging in the following behaviors. Individual airports may have additional prohibitions or guidelines that hosts are responsible for following.  Turo reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to decide if a host’s behavior violates this policy. Airports have the right, at their sole discretion, to remove a host’s delivery privileges at any time, for any reason.   **Prohibited host behaviors include, but aren’t limited to the following:**  * Advertising your vehicle as available for airport delivery then asking guests to choose a delivery location near but not at the airport or approved airport parking location  * Allowing custom delivery at a restricted airport * Asking a guest to pay for parking at the end of a trip or requesting reimbursement for parking costs once the trip has ended * Asking a guest to pay for parking using a link to a third-party service * Delivering a box truck or other oversized vehicle that exceeds the height or length limit for approved parking anywhere on airport property * Dropping off and/or picking up their vehicle anywhere other than the permitted locations where airport delivery has been selected by the guest in the reservation * Failing to add vehicle location information and parking details in the Turo app when delivering to permitted airports * Having a guest pay for parking at airport pickup without having notified them via Turo messaging when they booked their trip that they'd be responsible for parking costs * Listing a vehicle as available for airport delivery and requesting guests arrange third-party transportation to get to the vehicle from the airport * Listing an airport as a [vehicle’s home location](https://help.turo.com/vehicle-location-misrepresentation-rytBLNxN5) * Operating personal shuttles  * Parking or directing guests to park in ♿ accessible stalls or stalls reserved for staff or other designees (this does not apply to guests with valid disability credentials that would otherwise allow them to use properly use ♿ accessible stalls) * Storing vehicles long term in airport parking facilities; vehicles are subject to impound at owner’s expense * Towing a vehicle, washing a vehicle, performing vehicle maintenance, or using a trailer on airport property **Prohibited host behaviors that are considered egregious and will result in an immediate and permanent loss of delivery privileges at the impacted airport are the following:**  * Engaging in any activity to avoid parking fees including, but not limited to, exchanging or swapping parking tickets or license plates * Tailgating other vehicles through parking gates to avoid parking fee ## Violations Violating the guidelines for a permitted airport puts you at risk of citations and/or violation fees from Turo, which can result in loss of airport delivery privileges or suspension and removal from Turo.   Hosts who engage in prohibited activities or violate an airport’s parking rules will incur an airport violation fee that Turo will take from host earnings. Hosts will be subject to the following violation fees **_in addition to_** any fines issued by the airport; see a complete list of permitted airports for the [US](https://help.turo.com/us-airport-delivery-information-or-hosts-Hkc1LEl4q) and for [Canada](https://help.turo.com/canada-airport-delivery-rJyyrtlU5) and read the guidelines in place at the airport where you offer delivery.  #### Turo airport permit violation fees * **Parking violation fee:** $100 per incident * **Prohibited activities violation fee:** $250 per incident #### Gray market policy violation fees You may not ask a guest to pay for parking using a link to a third-party service. Such requests violate Turo’s [gray market transaction policy](https://help.turo.com/gray-market-transaction-policy-or-hosts-SJOUUNlN5) and may result in Turo charging you a $150\* [violation fee](https://help.turo.com/host-fees-r1aIIExV5), removing you from the platform, and seeking liquidated damages in the amount of $5,500\* as per our [Terms of service](https://turo.com/policies/terms).
