## Turo eligibility

All vehicles classified as box trucks must meet our standard vehicle eligibility requirements for listing in their market ([US](https://help.turo.com/vehicles-we-accept-rylmrNl45), [CA](https://help.turo.com/meeting-vehicle-requirements-or-canada-ryYjTRW8c)).

Turo automatically reviews each box truck vehicle listing submitted to confirm its eligibility before allowing the listing to go live on the platform. For listing consideration, **US hosts** can contact us to submit their box truck information. Tap the **"Get help"** button below to reach our AI assistant and ask to be connected to an agent.

## Box truck requirements – US

Box trucks can be listed in all states except Oregon as long as they meet Turo’s criteria:

*   Are not  equipped with air brakes
*   Have a maximum gross weight not to exceed 10,000 lbs in New York and South Carolina 
*   Have a maximum gross weight not to exceed 14,000 lbs in all other states 

## Box truck requirements – Canada

Box trucks can only be listed in British Columbia if they meet Turo’s criteria:

*   Can’t be equipped with air brakes
*   Maximum gross weight can’t exceed 5,000 kg (11,023 lbs)
*   They must be less than 26 feet (7.92 meters)

## Box truck Extras

Guests who book box trucks may also need other moving supplies. Consider adding Extras such as bungee cords, cargo nets, cargo trolleys, carry straps, dollies, furniture pads, furniture, sliders, ropes, storage crates, or tarps.
