## Choosing a pickup location

When you search for a vehicle using an address or name of an airport, train station, or hotel, Turo will display all available vehicles _**at**_ **and** _**near**_ **that location.** Use the **“Pickup Option”** filter to see only vehicles available _**at**_ the location you entered or only vehicles available _**near**_ the location you entered.

## Picking up and returning at different locations

Whether you can pick up your vehicle in one location and return it to another, (i.e., book a one-way trip), depends on where a host makes their vehicle available. **You’re not able to choose one location for pickup and a different location for return when you book your trip. But once the trip is booked or in progress, you can request a location change.** The new location must be one where the host already makes their vehicle available, or it must be within their custom delivery radius.

**To submit a request to change your pickup and/or return location, log on to the Turo app or turo.com, open the trip, and tap/click “Change trip.”** If your host doesn’t respond or declines your request for a location change, you must pick up and/or return the vehicle at the originally booked location.

If you change your pickup and/or return location, it may trigger a change to the cost of your trip. If you change the return location only, we’ll calculate a new delivery fee that’s a total of 50% of the fee for the original location plus 50% of the fee for the new location.

## Paying for pickup/return

If a host charges a delivery fee to drop off a vehicle and pick it up at the end of your trip, it’ll be calculated into the daily price and included as part of the total cost of your trip. Never pay a host directly for delivering a vehicle to you; doing so violates Turo’s [Gray market transaction policy](https://help.turo.com/gray-market-transaction-policy-or-guests-ryrrN4eV9) and [Terms of Service.](https://turo.com/policies/terms)

## Coordinating pickup with your host

[Use Turo messaging](https://help.turo.com/messaging-your-host-SkVEVxN9) to confirm pickup instructions with your host. Turo has [agreements at certain airports](https://help.turo.com/categories/arranging-airport-delivery-H1t8NEeNc) that specify where guests and hosts can pick up and return vehicles. If you’re picking up and returning a vehicle to one of those airports, Turo will display pickup/return information on the **Details** page of your trip. Hosts aren't permitted to ask guests for a ride home after dropping off their vehicle. Contact us if your host makes such a request. Tap the **"Get help"** button below to reach our AI assistant and ask to be connected to an agent.

## Paying for parking at a pick up location

If you're picking up a vehicle in a parking facility and must pay a fee to exit, your host must contact you via Turo messaging immediately after you book your trip to let you know there’s a parking fee associated with pickup, and you’re responsible for the cost. The cost of parking at an airport is not included in an airport fee or a host’s delivery fee.

If the host fails to contact you via Turo messaging to disclose you’ll be responsible for paying a parking fee, save the receipt and contact us. Tap the **"Get help"** button below to reach our AI assistant and ask to be connected to an agent.
