## Are there promotions for first-time guests, teachers, or military members?

Turo doesn’t offer ongoing promo codes, coupons, or referral links for first-time users, teachers, or military members.

## Can I use promo codes from third-party websites?

Promo codes and coupons from third-party websites aren’t valid. Turo doesn’t offer promo codes online and doesn’t authorize any third parties to do so on our behalf. Our system is unable to accept them, and we’re unable to honor them.

## Can customer support provide promo codes?

Customer support can’t provide promo codes or change the price of a trip.

## Has Turo’s Loyalty Bonus program been discontinued?

**Turo’s loyalty bonus program ended on July 24, 2025**. If you earned a loyalty bonus day before that date, it remains in your account until you use it or it expires. The loyalty bonus is **automatically** applied to your next eligible booking.

## How do I find out about Turo promotions?

Turo occasionally sends special promotions to eligible guests via email push notifications, or SMS. notifications. [Learn how to customize your notifications to receive news of available  promotions](https://help.turo.com/how-to-customize-notification-settings-SyPmxRZGfg).

## How do promo codes work?

Promo codes can only be used: 

*   For a trip in the country of the currency listed in the code 
    
*   One time; if you apply a promo code to a trip, you can’t use it again, even if you cancel your trip
    
*   **When you initially book a trip;** customer support can’t apply promo codes to a booked trip or alter the cost of a trip
    

Promo codes can’t be:

*   Combined with another discount code or promotional offer
    
*   Extended beyond the original expiration date**;** once a code expires, it can’t be reissued
    
*   Retrieved or reissued if deleted; we can’t track who received and/or redeemed Turo promo codes, so check your email or push notifications for the original offer
    
*   Transferred or sold to another Turo user
    
*   Used on a trip initiated through a third-party site

1.  Scroll down to **Payment** and tap the arrow next to **Promo code and gift cards**
    
2.  Tap“**\+ Add**” next to **Promo Code**
    
3.  Copy and paste or type the code exactly as it appears
    
4.  Tap “**Apply**”

#### How do I apply a promo code to my account

## How do future trip discount codes work?

After a trip, some hosts may email you a discount code for a future trip booked with them. 

These discount codes **can** only be:

*   Used for the stated percentage discount 
    
*   Used on the next booking with that specific host 
    
*   Used within 90 days of you receiving the code 
    
*   Reused with that host if the trip is canceled and the code hasn’t expired
    

These discount codes **can’t** be:

*   Used for a previous or currently booked trip
    
*   Used more than once 
    
*   Combined with another promotional offer
    
*   Sold or transferred to another Turo user
