## **Delivery at Daniel K. Inouye Honolulu International Airport (HNL)**

Turo has a delivery permit governing host and guest activity at this airport. You must comply with:

*   specific guidelines, parking instructions, and violation fines for HNL listed here;
* general instructions for [US airports with delivery permits](https://help.turo.com/us-airport-delivery-information-or-hosts-Hkc1LEl4q); and
*   Turo’s [airport permit policy](https://help.turo.com/airport-permit-violation-policy-HJXOrOp_A)

**Failure to do so can result in citations, fines, removal of airport privileges, and/or removal from Turo.** Help your guests have a successful experience at this airport by sending them [this link to the HNL guest article](https://help.turo.com/honolulu-international-airport-hnl-guests-SkJze82Ukg).

## Delivery locations

#### Permitted location

* International Parking Garage, Levels 7–8; across from Terminal 1, Arrivals level

#### Prohibited locations

*   Terminal curbside
* Any location not listed above

## Drop-off instructions

* Drop off your vehicle no more than six hours before your guest’s trip is scheduled to begin
* Follow signs for "International Arrivals" to reach the International Garage, which is located across from Terminal 1, Arrivals level
* Enter from the ground level of the Airport Access Road and use the International Garage lane
* If gate does not automatically open, pull a parking ticket upon entering the garage and leave it in a visible location for your guest

## Pick-up instructions

* Pick up the vehicle no more than six hours after the trip ends
* Drive to the first floor of the garage and follows signs to the airport exit
* Use an exit lane that’s staffed by a parking attendant; Turo shares the license plate numbers of host vehicles that deliver to HNL, so the exit gate should open automatically
* If the exit gate fails to open, show the attendant the trip reservation on the app and hand them the parking ticket so they can verify and document the reservation and allow you to exit without payment

**Important:** The license plate on your vehicle **must match** the license plate for the vehicle that appears in your listing, and you **must park** in the International Garage. If you don’t, you’ll be charged a parking fee as well as an airport violation fee, and, if applicable, an airport permit fine.

## Parking cost

HNL charges hosts a $14 fee to cover the cost of parking (entry/exit) at this location. Turo will deduct this fee from host earnings and prohibits hosts from requesting guest reimbursement of this fee.

## **Delivery permit violations at HNL**

Failure to comply with parking rules at this airport is a violation of HNL’s rules and of Turo’s airport permit policy. License plate reader technology will record any drop-off or pickup at an unapproved airport location. You will incur a warning or suspension from the airport _as well as_ an [airport permit policy violation fee](https://help.turo.com/host-fees-r1aIIExV5) for each violation. Turo will deduct airport violation fees from host earnings.

*   **First violation**: Written warning
*   **Second violation**: $100 fine
* **Third violation:** $200 fine and one-month delivery restriction
