## Defining a host no-show

We may consider your host a no-show if:

* You arrive to pick up the vehicle, and your host or the vehicle isn’t there
* You checked in with your license photos, but the host didn’t give you vehicle access

## Managing a host no-show

#### Confirm the address

Open the trip **Details** page and make sure you’re at the right location. Check your Turo messaging **Inbox** to see if your host sent additional or updated information about the vehicle’s location.

#### Check the time

If you arrive early or on time, you must give your host a courtesy window of 30 minutes past the scheduled trip start time.

#### Contact your host

Send a message to your host via Turo. Open the **Trips** tab and choose your trip from the list of **Booked** trips. Tap **Message** to contact your host. If you get no response, try texting or calling them. We display the host’s phone number on the trip’s **Details** page.

#### Contact customer support for a host no-show

If you can’t reach your host and you’ve waited 30 minutes past the trip start time, report the host no-show to customer support. We’ll cancel the trip penalty-free and help you find a new vehicle. [We’ll fully refund you](https://help.turo.com/refund-timing-rkyN44gEc) if we can’t, or you prefer not to rebook. Tap the "Get help" button below to reach our AI assistant and ask to be connected to an agent.
