#### **If your host has personal breakdown cover, they’ll message you at the start of the trip with the name and contact information of their breakdown assistance provider. If you need breakdown assistance during our trip, check with your host before contacting Turo.** 

## **Roadside service via a host’s breakdown cover**

Some hosts have personal breakdown cover to help guests with roadside issues such as tyre punctures, fuel shortages, key problems, or breakdowns. Check Turo messaging to see if your host sent the name and phone number of their breakdown assistance provider. 

**Turo** **doesn’t manage breakdown assistance** when a hosts has personal breakdown cover. You must direct all communication to your host and their breakdown provider, who will support you with vehicle repairs or alternative onward travel options.

If your host has breakdown cover provided by the RAC, have the vehicle registration and your hosts contact information ready. The policy is in your host’s name.

**If your host does have breakdown cover and you call Turo for roadside assistance,** you or your host may be responsible for roadside costs.

## **Cost and responsibility for breakdown assistance**

If breakdown assistance is needed because of carelessness, policy violations, or other fault on your part, you may be responsible for service costs and damages.

## **Host-provided breakdown assistance in Europe**

Your host may not have breakdown cover for travel in Europe, so you may want to arrange your own insurance to avoid any unexpected costs during your trip.
