## Eligible and ineligible charges for EV costs

(_Outlines reimbursement eligibility and restrictions for charging and refueling costs during a trip._)

### Eligible charges

(_Summarizes reimbursable fees for electric and hybrid vehicle charging._)

* **Recharging fee:** Hosts can invoice guests for a recharging fee based on the difference between the vehicle’s battery level pre- and post-trip.

* **Inconvenience fee:** Turo will automatically apply a $10\* inconvenience fee to post-trip recharging invoices.

* **Low battery fee:** Turo will automatically apply a $20\* low battery level fee if a guest returns an EV with a battery level under 20%.

* **Additional costs:** Hosts can invoice guests for congestion fees, idle fees, and Tesla Supercharger costs.

### Ineligible charges

(_Lists scenarios where reimbursement for charging or refueling costs is not permitted._)

Turo denies reimbursement requests for EV costs when the guest is not responsible for the situation. Hosts who submit such a request may be charged a $50\* policy violation fee. These situations are:

* **Early return:** Guest returns the vehicle early due to a vehicle- or host-driven issue.

* **Vehicle swap:** Host swaps a guest into a new vehicle, disallowing charges for EV costs for the originally booked vehicle.

* **Roadside incidents:** Vehicle is involved in a roadside incident, accident, or police seizure for which the guest is not responsible.
