## Instructions for accessing an invoice from your host

You can view and dispute an invoice from any of these 3 locations:

*   **Trips tab:**

    * **Completed trip:** Select **View past trips,** select the trip, **View invoices,** and select the invoice.

    * **In-progress trip:** Select **Manage trip, View trip details,** select the trip, **View invoices,** and select the invoice.

* **Direct link:** Follow the link to the invoice that appears in the email and the in-app notification Turo sent notifying you of the invoice.

## Instructions for disputing an invoice from your host

1.  Select **Dispute.**

2. In the text box, describe the specific charge and reason for your dispute

3. Upload photo documentation by selecting **Add photos**.

    1. All photos must have metadata showing the date, time, and geolocation.

    2. Pre- and post-trip photos must be taken no more than 24 hours before trip start and no more than 24 hours after trip end.

**Important:** Never pay your host directly for any costs or fees. Doing so violates Turo’s [Gray Market transaction policy](https://help.turo.com/gray-market-transaction-policy-or-guests-ryrrN4eV9). It may also limit Turo’s ability to help you if your host submits an invoice for a charge you’ve already paid.

## Invoice dispute timeline

* **Dispute window:** Guests have **48 hours** from the time they receive an invoice to dispute it.

* **Payment:** If you change your mind within the 48-hour window, you can still pay the invoice by tapping **Accept and pay.**

* **Dispute expiration:** Once the 48-hour dispute window closes, customer support agents cannot reopen it.

* **Host response:** Once you submit your dispute, the host has 72 hours to respond.

    *   Host cancels the invoice.

    * Host sends you a new invoice for a revised amount.

    * Host escalates the invoice to customer support for resolution.

### Q: How does Turo resolve a disputed invoice?

**A:** If the host escalates the disputed invoice to customer support, Turo will review the pre- and post-trip photos the guest and host uploaded to **Trip photos**. We rely on photo evidence in deciding the outcome of a dispute, so make sure your photos clearly show the area(s) in question.

If we find in your favor, we’ll notify you, and you’ll owe nothing. If we find in favor of your host, we’ll email you our ruling and charge your payment card on file for the approved amount.
