Guests may need to extend a trip to keep the vehicle longer than originally planned. This article provides instructions for submitting an extension request via Turo to ensure the request is eligible for approval. 

## Instructions for extending a trip

Guests must submit a trip change request via Turo to extend the return day or time of their trip. Requests can be submitted before a trip begins, while it is in progress, or up to 24 hours after the scheduled trip end time.

1.  Open the **Trips** tab in the Turo app to access your list of booked  trips. 
    
2.  Select the **Manage trip** button to open a drop-down menu and select **Change trip**.
    
3.  If no **Manage trip** button is displayed, open the trip to land on the trip **Details** page.
    
4.  Select **Dates and location**.
