Vehicle delivery allows Turo hosts to expand their guest reach by dropping off and picking up vehicles at convenient locations. This article covers delivery pricing, location options, settings, guest instructions, and insurance coverage to help hosts manage deliveries successfully.

## Delivery pricing and earnings

Hosts can offer free delivery or set a delivery fee up to the maximum allowed at the delivery location. This fee covers the cost of vehicle drop-off and pickup. Hosts can offer free delivery for trips with a minimum length ranging from two days to one week or from two weeks and longer.

Host earnings for delivery depend on your location:

* **Host earnings - US and Canada:**  For new trips booked as of Oct. 8, 2026, US and Canada hosts keep a percentage of the cost of any Extras purchased in alignment with the earnings plan they choose. or, where applicable, the variable host share applied to the trip.
* **Host earnings - Outside the US and Canada:** Hosts in Australia, Canada, France, and the UK earn 90% of the cost of Extras.

## Prohibited charges

Hosts cannot charge guests or seek reimbursement for the following expenses or make the listing payment arrangements:

* **Fuel costs:** The cost of fuel to deliver a vehicle.
* **Parking fees:** Any parking fee paid to pick up a vehicle after a trip ends, in violation of Turo's reimbursement violation policy.
* **External fees:** Delivery costs collected outside of Turo, or parking costs via a third-party link, in violation of the gray market transaction policy and terms of service.

## Delivery locations

### Location options

Hosts can offer delivery to up to 10 point-of-interest locations, such as airports, hotels, and train stations. Hosts can also offer custom delivery to locations a guest chooses by setting the maximum distance they're willing to travel.

**Important:** The custom delivery radius is measured in a straight line, so the actual driving distance may be longer.

### Location restrictions

* **Ride requests:** Hosts cannot ask a guest to give them a ride home from a delivery location.
* **Airport restrictions:** Hosts cannot deliver a vehicle to an airport where delivery restrictions are in place.

### Vehicle location

Hosts must deliver vehicles to the listed delivery location. Failure to do so violates Turo's vehicle location misrepresentation policy.

* **Outside location:** Hosts cannot ask guests to travel to a vehicle location outside the listed delivery location, or offer to cover or arrange such travel.
* **Airport property:** Hosts cannot set a vehicle's home or custom delivery location on airport property. If a host does so and Turo holds a delivery permit at that airport, Turo will charge an airport delivery fee to the guest.

## Delivery settings

* **To view or change delivery settings:** Go to **Vehicles** > **Settings** > **Locations**. Hosts will see a table of locations and the vehicles available at each.
* **To enable vehicle delivery:** Open the vehicle listing and select **Locations & Delivery**.
* **To change a vehicle's delivery fee**: Select the pencil icon to the right of the listed vehicle.

**Tip:** Hosts can manage delivery settings for multiple vehicles at once by creating vehicle groups tied to point-of-interest locations.

## Delivery instructions to guests

### Vehicle location

Hosts must message guests or, if available at their airport delivery location, use the in-app guided location feature to give clear, detailed instructions for finding the vehicle.

### Parking fees

If guests must pay to enter or exit at a vehicle pickup location, hosts must disclose this in advance and specify whether they will be responsible for the cost or if it is the guest’s responsibility.

### Airport delivery

For guidance on airport drop-off and pickup procedures at permitted airports and the required use of the guided location feature, see [Airports with delivery permits | US hosts](https://help.turo.com/airports-with-delivery-permits-us-hosts-Hkc1LEl4q) version or [Airports with delivery permits | Canada hosts](https://help.turo.com/airports-with-delivery-permits-canada-hosts-rJyyrtlU5).

## Coverage during delivery

Coverage during the delivery period applies at check-in only and varies by region:

*    **US and Australia:** Hosts receive third-party liability coverage when delivering a vehicle at check-in.
* **Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon):** Hosts receive both physical damage and third-party liability coverage when delivering a vehicle at check-in.
* **France, UK, and British Columbia:** Hosts receive no liability or physical damage coverage during any part of the delivery period.
