## Liability insurance for hosts in the United Kingdom

Third-party auto liability insurance is provided by ERS (Syndicate 218 at Lloyd’s) managed by IQUW Syndicate Management Limited\*, arranged via Turo’s broker, Lockton Companies LLP. Most insurers won’t cover hosts for liability related to bodily injury to others or damage to the property of others when their vehicle is on a Turo trip. All trips are provided: 

*   Unlimited coverage for bodily injury to others or death 
*   Coverage for motor third-party property damage is up to 20,000,000 £

Specifically, motor third-party property damage coverage is: 

*   20,000,000 £ where the insured vehicle is a private car meaning any private car, estate car, or utility car excluding taxi and any for-hire purpose
*   5,000,000 £ for all other vehicle types

\*ERS (Syndicate 218 at Lloyd’s) is managed by IQUW Syndicate Management Limited, which is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. (Registered number 204851).
