## **Link account to receive auto-generated guest invoices**

You may be able to link your Turo account to your toll agency if your toll agency offers that functionality. Once your account is linked, Turo will send you auto-generated invoices of toll charges that you can review and send to your guests for payment. ## **How to link your account to a toll agency**

To see if your toll agency is available to connect to Turo, open your **Vehicles** tab in the app and open **Linked accounts** to view **Tolls information**. On the web, you can access toll information directly under the **Vehicles** tab.

Select the toll agency you want to link to and login. Select the Turo vehicles you want to link and choose how you want to connect: by transponder or by license plate. **_If your vehicle(s) are registered with the toll agency by both license plate and transponder, select the transponder option._**

* **If you choose transponder** – Select the transponder that’s attached to the vehicle. We’ll check it first for toll charges but will also check the license plate(s) as a backup.
* **If you choose license plate** – The license plate(s) should automatically match to any license plates you’ve registered on the toll account. Make sure the license plate numbers for your Turo vehicles don’t have any nicknames or non-standard formatting.

Before completing the process, you’ll be given the option “Don't track.” If you engage this option, the vehicle's toll transactions won’t be shared with Turo, and we’ll be unable to generate invoices for you.

Once you’ve saved and confirmed your settings, your toll account will register as “Connected.” You can follow this same process to link to additional toll agencies.

## **Troubleshooting issues with a linked toll account**

#### I linked my Turo account to a toll agency, but I’m not getting invoices. Why isn’t it working?

There are a few likely reasons why you’re not getting invoices:

* **You’ve mistakenly connected via license plate instead of transponder.** If your vehicle is registered with the toll agency by both license plate and transponder, you must connect via the transponder option. If you chose the license plate option, we’re unable to check for toll charges for the vehicle.
* **You haven’t registered a newly listed vehicle**. Every time you add a vehicle to your fleet, you must link it to your Turo account. Otherwise, the toll agency is unable to send us toll information for that vehicle.
* **Your account with the toll agency isn’t in good standing.** You may have an outstanding payment due, an issue with your connected bank account or credit card, or other issue that must be resolved with the toll agency.

#### Will I still get invoices if I don’t have my transponder in the vehicle?

Yes. If you’ve registered your vehicle with the toll agency by license plate only, you don’t need a transponder in the vehicle. If you’ve registered your vehicle by license plate and transponder and connected via the transponder, we’ll still check license plate information and capture the toll charges, even if the transponder is missing from the vehicle.
