#### **Review the requirements for listing a vehicle on Turo then gather the information you’ll need to create your listing. As soon as your listing goes live, your vehicle will be available for guests to book.** 

## **Take a first step**

**You must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years old to list a vehicle in Australia.** Before you can list a vehicle, you must [create a Turo account](https://turo.com/sign-up).

## **Confirm you meet our requirements**

In addition to the age requirement, you must also meet these requirements to be eligible to list a vehicle in Australia:

*   Have [valid Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance](https://help.turo.com/personal-insurance-requirements-or-hosts-S1TvINxVq) 
*   Meet [legal and insurance standards and requirements](https://help.turo.com/sharing-your-car-au-hosts-HkxvL2Emo) for your region
*   Acknowledge our [Vehicle tracking and technology policy](https://help.turo.com/tracking-and-technology-devices-SkF48Nl49)
*   Have [accurate, high-quality photographs on your listing](https://help.turo.com/listing-photos-guide-rJBHuRQSh)
*   Complete Turo host orientation (required before your listing can go live)
*   Remove any provisional P-Plates before a trip starts 

## **Get permissions**

Review the language of your lease or financing documents to confirm permission to list your vehicle on a car sharing platform. You must certify that you’ve notified your Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance carrier that you plan to list on Turo so liability insurance for bodily harm caused by the host’s vehicle can be adjusted as needed. 

## **Create your listing**

Have all the information you’ll need at hand when you’re ready to [list your vehicle](http://turo.com/list-your-car/list). You’ll enter:

*   license plate number
*   vehicle make, model, and year
*   at least five clear, well-lit, high resolution [photos](https://help.turo.com/listing-photos-guide-rJBHuRQSh) of your vehicle, including at least one interior photo
*   an accurate list of your vehicle’s features 

When you create your listing, you’ll set a price for your vehicle, choose a protection plan, and set your availability and trip preferences. You’ll also have the option to offer discounts, delivery, and Extras. Don’t include any mention of fees, deposits, or restrictions not supported by Turo and our [Terms of service.](https://turo.com/policies/terms)

## **Complete your orientation course**

To ensure you’re prepared for host success, we’ll ask you to watch a series of short educational videos. Turo requires host to complete orientation when listing their first vehicle on the platform. 

## **Get ready for bookings**

Once you complete orientation, Turo will review your listing. As soon as it goes live, we’ll notify you, and your vehicle will be available for guests to book. Be sure you’ve turned on notifications and are checking the email tied to your Turo account for confirmations of booked trips. Canceling or failing to show up for a trip will trigger a violation fee, impact your metrics, and could impact your vehicle’s placement in search results. **Remember to r****emove any provisional P-Plates before a trip starts**
