#### **Review the requirements for listing a vehicle on Turo then gather the information you’ll need to create your listing. As soon as your listing goes live, your vehicle will be available for guests to book.** 

## **Take a first step**

**You must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old to list a vehicle.** To get started, [create a Turo account](https://turo.com/sign-up).

## **Confirm you meet requirements**

In addition to the age requirement, you must also meet these requirements to be eligible to list a vehicle in the UK:

*   Complete [Turo host orientation webinar](https://www.bigmarker.com/turo/Turo-Host-Orientation-UK) (required before your listing can go live)
*   Meet our [Active tracker policy | UK hosts](https://help.turo.com/active-tracker-policy-for-select-uk-vehicle-models-HyoS8NxEq) and [Advance Notice](https://help.turo.com/en_us/setting-trip-duration-BJZpGUJIc) policy for vehicles over a certain value

## **Get permissions**

Review the language of your lease or financing documents to confirm permission to list your vehicle on a car sharing platform. You must get permission from lessors before listing.

## **Create your listing**

Have all the information you’ll need at hand when you’re ready to [list your vehicle](http://turo.com/list-your-car/list). You’ll enter:

*   License plate number
*   Vehicle make, model, and year
*   Clear, well-lit, high resolution [photos](https://help.turo.com/listing-photos-guide-rJBHuRQSh) of your vehicle — successful hosts have at least 10 that show the exterior from all sides and any unique interior features; if you’re a business operating on Turo, consider including facility or portfolio photos
*   an accurate list of your vehicle’s features 

When you create your listing, you’ll set a price for your vehicle, choose a protection plan, and set your availability and trip preferences. You’ll also have the option to offer discounts, delivery, and Extras**.** Don’t share your phone number, address, links to your social media accounts, or other personal information in your vehicle listing. Don’t include any mention of fees, deposits, or restrictions not supported by Turo and our [Terms of service.](https://turo.com/policies/terms)

## Complete your host orientation webinar 

As part of the listing process, you are required to attend a 30-minute host orientation webinar, which you can register for through the Turo app once your vehicle profile is set up. After you complete the session, it may take 24 to 48 hours for your vehicle to be officially listed on the marketplace. Once your listing is live, you will be ready to receive bookings and start hosting guests.

## **Get ready for bookings**

Once you attend the webinar, Turo will review your listing. As soon as it goes live, we’ll notify you, and your vehicle will be available for guests to book.

Be sure you’ve turned on notifications and are checking the email tied to your Turo account for confirmations of booked trips. Canceling or failing to show up for a trip will trigger a violation fee, impact your metrics, and could impact your vehicle’s placement in search results.
