# Professional uses policy

## Policy

You may use a vehicle booked through Turo for professional use. Examples of professional use cases are:

*   Courier services such as Amazon Flex delivery or other third-party courier services
*   Delivery services such as Lyft or Uber 
*   Material transportation services such as Doordash or Uber Eats  

Turo permits guests to use a vehicle for professional use in all US states with the exception of California, Minnesota, New York, and Oregon. Turo does not permit professional use outside of the US. 

## Violations

If you use a vehicle for professional use in a location where professional use is prohibited is a violation of this policy, and Turo may apply the following consequences:

*   Charge a Professional uses policy violation fee of $150 plus a 3% Turo admin fee
*   Void your protection for any physical damage to a host’s vehicle and hold you fully liable for damage repair
*   Temporarily suspend your use of the platform 
*   Remove you from Turo
