#### Once you complete a trip, you can rate the trip, rate specific aspects of your experience, and leave a written review.

## Understanding ratings and reviews

Leaving a trip review gives you a chance to share honest feedback about your experience. You can submit a review beginning three hours before and up to 10 days after your trip ends.

There are two parts to a trip review: a star rating and a written review. Ratings let you give your experience an overall score of one to five stars. A written review lets you share detailed feedback about your trip. If you give a trip a rating of one to four stars, we’ll require that you add a written review of at least 25 characters to explain why the trip fell short of your expectations. Your feedback makes it possible for hosts to be held accountable and learn how to improve the trip experience for future guests.

We’ll display your rating and review on the host’s vehicle listing and display their rating and review of you on your profile. We’ll publish both at the same time— either once we receive a trip review from both of you or within 10 days of the trip ending, whichever comes first.

## Submitting a trip rating and review

Turo allows guests to rate their trip three hours before it ends. We will prompt you to review it, but after the trip ends, you have ten days to rate and review it. We’ll notify you that the review window is open and alert you when it’s about to close. We’ll prompt you to review a trip as soon as it ends. If you close the app without leaving a rating and review, you’ll still have 10 days post trip to do so.

To review a trip, follow the link in the notification email, tap the in-app notification, or open the **Trips** tab and select the trip you want to review. You can rate your overall trip experience and leave ratings for cleanliness, communication, convenience, listing accuracy, and maintenance. To submit your review for a trip you rated one, two, three, or four stars, you must add a written review. Although we don’t require it, we encourage you to leave a written review for a trip you’ve rated five stars so the host knows what they did well.

## Can I change my review?

Once you submit a review, you’ll be unable to change the star rating or your written review. Even our customer support agents can’t make any corrections, additions, or updates to a submitted review.

## Can I still submit a review after the 10-day window closes?

If you miss the 10-day window, you’ll be unable to leave a star rating or review for your trip. Neither the host nor our customer support agents are able to extend the review window.

## Where can I see the review a host left me?

Turo publishes trip reviews on your Profile page. To reach your Profile page via the app, open the “More” tab at the bottom of the screen and tap “View and edit profile” at the top of the next screen. To reach your Profile page from Turo.com on the web, open the drop-down menu at the top of the page and click “Profile.”

Keep in mind that hosts aren’t required to rate and review guests, so your host may not have submitted a trip review for you. Or your host may have left you a star rating only and not a written review as well.

## **Can I have a review removed?**

In most cases, Turo is unable to honor a request to remove a review. Review the [criteria for having a review removed](https://help.turo.com/removing-a-review-guests-H1e7FqjKle). If a review you received meets the criteria, you may request that Turo review it for possible removal. To make a request, [complete this form](https://help.turo.com/contact/review-removal-ByGFs3kZle) in its entirety. **This form is the only way to request a review removal.** Turo won’t accommodate requests made via chat, phone, or email.

Turo will review the request as well as other relevant information available on the platform to determine if the review can be removed. Turo will review removal requests just once and will exercise sole and exclusive discretion over whether to remove a review. All decisions are final.
