## Roadside assistance in France

For roadside assistance, call Turo customer support at +33 1 82 88 10 24.

Roadside assistance from our roadside provider **Mutuaide** is available 24/7 in Andorra, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland.

Contact us for roadside assistance if you’re involved in an accident, have a vehicle breakdown, get a flat tire, need fuel, put the wrong type of fuel in the vehicle, or have an issue with keys.

## Accidents or vehicle damage

#### Vehicle can be driven after accident/damage

If you get into an accident or the vehicle is damaged but is still operational and safe to drive, report the damage in Turo’s [damage reporting center](http://www.turo.com/resolutions) within 24 hours of the incident.

#### Vehicle can’t be driven after accident/damage

If the vehicle is non-operational and/or not safe to drive, Mutuaide will tow it to the nearest garage. If towing costs exceed €200, the additional costs will be paid by the host or the guest, depending on who is found responsible for the issue. If the vehicle can’t be repaired at that time, Mutuaide may arrange for guest transport, depending on your chosen protection plan.

## Responsibility for roadside service costs in France

You’re responsible for the roadside assistance charge and the cost of all repairs if the mechanic making the repairs provides documentation that service was needed because of your improper or abusive use of the vehicle. Hosts are responsible for [flat tire](https://help.turo.com/flat-tire-damage-or-guests-Syh9NExEc) damage costs if the flat was caused by deterioration, age, rot, or a pre-existing condition; otherwise, guests are responsible for the costs.

## Repatriation (to the vehicle pick-up point) or trip continuation

For trips booked or amended on or after January 1, 2026, repatriation to where you picked up the vehicle or transport to your destination is included in the Standard and Premier protection plans only. The Premier plan includes repatriation or trip continuation in France or any of the countries listed above, while the Standard plan includes repatriation or trip continuation in France only.
**Important:**  the cost of getting you to your destination cannot be higher than the cost of repatriation to the vehicle pick-up point. Please refer to [Mutuaide’s notice](https://support-resources.turo.com/policies/FR%20RSA%20Notice.pdf) for full details of limits and exclusions.

The Limited protection plan does not include repatriation to the trip start point or trip continuation.
