#### Turo’s system charges a refundable security deposit for some trips booked in Canada. 

## Security deposit costs

Whether Turo’s system will apply a refundable security deposit to your booked trip and the deposit amount depends on the vehicle type and other factors. Turo will display the cost of a security deposit on the checkout page before you book. If you qualify for more than one deposit, Turo will charge you for the highest one. 

## Deposits for trips in Canada

*   **CA$1,500** deposit required for guests under the age of 30 who book Deluxe Class vehicles; guests must be 25 or older to book
*   **CA$1,500** deposit required for all guests who book Super Deluxe Class vehicles; guests must be 30 or older to book

**Note:** Submit your personal insurance information **_when prompted at the time of booking_** to get a CA$500 discount on your deposit; Turo can’t add this information once you book. 

## Security deposit refunds

Turo’s system will automatically refund your security deposit 80 hours after your trip ends **_if both of the following are true:_**

*   Your or your host hasn’t reported vehicle damage; **_and_**
*   You don’t have unpaid eligible reimbursement invoices; **_and_**
*   You aren’t responsible for any roadside service costs
