## Payout accounts with Stripe

Turo uses Stripe to manage host payouts; new hosts will verify their identity and create a Stripe account when they list their first vehicle on Turo. Stripe, not Turo, will verify and establish the account. You must enter your [bank information](https://help.turo.com/setting-up-or-changing-direct-deposit-HkDwB4xE5) to receive earnings payouts. Stripe securely stores your account details, and Turo doesn’t have access to it. 

## Account set up

It typically takes Stripe less than a minute to verify a new account. Stripe will notify you if it needs additional documentation or more time to review your account. If Stripe asks for more information, return to listing flow, tap “Finish listing,” and provide the requested documentation. We’ll notify you when your account has been successfully verified.
