#### You may receive travel credit for a Turo promotion, issue resolution, or gift card redemption. We automatically apply any travel credit on your account to the next trip you book.  

## How travel credit works

Travel credit funds are housed on your account and automatically applied to your next trip booking. You’re not able to save travel credit to be used at another time or to have it applied to a previous or currently booked trip, or to an in-progress, or completed trip. 

## Types of travel credit

#### Promotional travel credit

Some codes for Turo promotions generate promotional travel credit. Promotional travel credit applies to the price of the vehicle only. It doesn’t apply to any applicable trip fees, delivery costs, protection costs, Extras, taxes, or other costs.

#### Gift card travel credit

#### Issue resolution travel credit

Customer support agents occasionally add travel credit to a guest’s account as part of an issue resolution. Agents manually add this credit directly to the account; no code is issued or needed. 

## How to enter code for promotional travel credit

If you received a code for promotional travel credit, you’ll receive instructions to enter the code directly on your Turo account. 

#### In the app

*   Tap **More**
*   Tap **Account**
*   Tap **“Add travel credit”** 
*   Enter your travel credit code exactly as it appears and tap **“Apply”** 

#### On the web

*   Click your profile photo on the top right of your screen
*   Click **Account**
*   Scroll down to **Travel credit code**
*   Click **“Enter code”** and type your code exactly as it appears, then click **“Apply”**

## I had travel credit and now it’s missing. What happened?

If you’re concerned travel credit is missing from your account, check the receipt for your most recent trip(s) to see if we applied it to the cost of your trip. Also, review the travel credit email we sent you and check the issue date to confirm whether it has expired. Promotional travel credit may expire in 180 days. We’re unable to add expired travel credit back to your account.
