## Trip price

To arrive at a trip price, we add the daily price for each day of your trip, apply any available discounts, and multiply that sum by the number of trip days. We display trip price as both a total amount and as a price per day. Your trip can start and end anytime you and your host agree on, but the smallest unit we’ll charge is one day.

If you want to [extend your trip](https://help.turo.com/extending-or-shortening-your-trip-BypBE4eVc), we’ll calculate a trip price based on the number of added days, your host’s pricing for those days, and any applicable discounts.

**Trip price is just one element of the total cost of a trip**, which includes a trip fee, the cost of any protection plan, and other applicable costs depending on the specifics of your trip and the choices you make. ## Discounts

All hosts offer a 10% non-refundable trip discount for trips booked four or more days in advance. Hosts have the option to offer discounts for trips booked for a series of consecutive days and to offer a discounted future trip to guests who’ve completed a trip with them.

If your trip is eligible for a discount, we’ll show you the percentage reduction applied to the daily price. If your trip qualifies for multiple discounts, we’ll combine them at checkout. For example, if your trip is eligible for the 10% non-refundable trip discount **and** a 5% three-day trip duration discount, we’ll apply a 15% reduction to the price per day for the trip.
