## Booking a Turo trip on Uber

In some cases, you’ll complete your trip booking entirely on Uber. Once your Turo trip has been confirmed on Uber, download the Turo app. To view and manage your trip, tap “Manage on Turo” from your confirmed trip page in the Uber app or open the Turo app and log in using the same email and password you use to book on Uber.

In other cases, you’ll leave Uber and finish booking your trip on Turo. If you must complete your trip booking on Turo, you’ll be prompted to log on to Turo using your phone number or the email and password tied to your Uber account. Once your trip is confirmed, download and log on to the Turo app to view and manage your trip. 

**Always use the email and password tied to your Uber account to log on to Turo after you’ve booked your Turo trip on Uber. If you create a new Turo account using a different email and/or password, you’ll be unable to access your trip.** Tap the **"Get help"** button below to reach our AI assistant and ask to be connected to an agent.

#### **Do I have to download the Turo app?**

Yes. You’ll need the app to complete check-in and checkout for your trip. The app is also the easiest way to keep track of messages from your host or from Turo and to make any changes to your trip while you’re traveling.

#### **I booked a Turo trip on Uber but don’t want to use the same password for my Turo account as I do for my Uber account. Can I change it?** 

Yes. If you want to change the password tied to your Turo account, follow [this link](https://turo.com/account/change-password) to make the change. 

#### **How do I update my account information?** 

After you’ve booked a Turo trip on Uber, you’ll manage the information for each account separately. Any updates you make to your email, phone, or payment method on Turo won’t  impact your Uber account and vice versa.  

#### **Why don’t I see the option to book a Turo trip on the Uber app?**

The option to book a trip on Turo from the Uber app is available in the US only and in all states except New York, Oregon, and Washington. If you’re in one of the eligible US states and you don’t see this option, download the most recent version of the Uber app.
