## Preferred first names on Turo

You can change the first name on your Turo account to your preferred name, such as an abbreviation, a nickname, or another name that reflects your identity.

## Updating to a preferred first name

#### Updating your preferred first name (app)

*   Tap **“More”** at the bottom of the screen 
    
*   Tap **Account** 
    
*   Tap **Account Info**  
    
*   Open **Preferred first name**
    
*   Enter the name you’d prefer to go by on Turo and click **“Save”**
    

#### Updating your preferred first name (web)

*   Click your profile photo on the top right of the home screen
    
*   Open **Account** 
    
*   To update your Preferred first name, click **“Update”**
    
*   Enter the name you’d prefer to go by on Turo and click **“Save”**
