#### You must be at least 18, and your vehicle must meet Turo’s eligibility requirements for listing in France. 

## Vehicle type and registration

*   Be an eligible passenger vehicle located in France
*   Be registered to you or to an owner who’s authorized you to list their vehicle, and meets all legal requirements. 
*   Ineligible vehicles include, but aren’t limited to, box trucks, high-performance models, limousines, kit cars, motorcycles, off-road vehicles, RVs, tow trucks, vehicles that seat more than nine people (eight passengers and the driver), and vehicles used in any competition, trial, performance test, race or trial of speed, including off-road events
*   Have permanent plates; we don’t allow temporary (WW) plates 

## Age and condition

You must be at least 18 years old to list a vehicle on Turo, and your vehicle must:

*   Be registered in France in the name of the owner or a business
*   Be listed in the name of an individual or of a company as long as name of individual is included
*   Be no more than 12 years old at the time of listing; this doesn’t apply to vintage cars
*   Beginning Jan. 6, 2026, be no more than 18 years old to remain on the platform (the date of registration being taken as proof); this doesn’t apply to vintage cars.
*   Have a new vehicle fair market value purchase price of up to 150 000 €
*   Turo provides coverage for the actual cash value (ACV) of the car, up to a limit of 150 000 € and uses a third-party vendor to determine vehicle value at time of listing

*   Have fewer than 300,000 kilometers 
    *   You must [maintain your vehicle](https://help.turo.com/maintenance-requirements-ryNmIVxNc) and continue to meet maintenance and safety standards as your vehicle ages
    *   Once listed, vehicles that reach or exceed 300,000 kilometers may remain listed if they’re in excellent condition and continue to meet all legal, safety, and mechanical standards
*   Have a clean (e.g. [not a “branded” or “salvage](https://help.turo.com/ineligible-vehicle-titles-B1DvLEe49)”) title
*   You’re responsible for knowing your vehicle’s title history
*   Have not been a total loss
*   Not be a modified vehicle, except for those adapted for disabilities; minor aesthetic modifications may be permitted
*   Have all required safety equipment in the vehicle at the start of each trip (e.g., warning triangle and yellow, fluorescent jacket)

## Specialty and classic vehicles

You may be able to list a “specialty” or “classic” vehicle if it meets the conditions listed below. Eligible vehicles must:

*   be 30 years or older 
*   must be in excellent mechanical and physical condition
*   have a fair market value of up to 100 000 €
*   have all seat belts in safe, working condition
*   be subject to additional review
