## Policy

Actions or activities that constitute vehicle misrepresentation include but aren’t limited to, the following.

#### Creating an inaccurate vehicle listing

Listing a vehicle with: 

*   an inaccurate vehicle home location or delivery location
*   mileage/kilometres that exceed eligibility requirements, wrong year, make, model, or mileage
*   photos of features or functionalities the vehicle doesn’t have 
*   snow tires as a feature, but tires don’t have a 3PMSF snowflake symbol
*   snow tires as a feature, but only providing snow chains instead of tires with the 3PMSF snowflake symbol
*   wrong trim package

#### Other misrepresentation

*   Failing to photograph and disclose pre-existing damages accurately
*   Providing a vehicle with a license plate number that doesn’t match the license plate number on the vehicle listing
*   Providing a vehicle with inaccurate or expired registration or registration that’ll expire during a trip
*   Providing a vehicle without proper documentation or insurance
*   Re-listing or re-enabling vehicle(s) that Turo removed for safety, mechanical, claims-related, cosmetic, or other policy violations

## Violations

Misrepresentation of a vehicle by listing, advertising, photos, messaging, text, or by phone will result in a $100\* violation fee, loss of host earnings for the affected trip(s), and any [applicable fees](https://help.turo.com/host-fees-r1aIIExV5) to be determined by Turo. It may also result in removal from Turo and/or voiding the protection tied to your earnings plan.
