## Self-recovery

* **You can recover a vehicle yourself** without help from Turo’s roadside assistance if the vehicle was impounded, towed to a storage facility, or abandoned by a guest.

* **You must recover a vehicle yourself** if the impound is the result of a repossession. Turo’s roadside assistance cannot help recover a repossessed vehicle

* **You may not recover a vehicle yourself** if the impound is due to a vehicle damage claim or trust and safety issue.

* If you recover a vehicle yourself, you are responsible for any up-front expenses and assume the risk of any losses or other issues that arise during the self-recovery process.

## Reimbursement

For eligible self-recovery reimbursements, Turo will compensate you for any applicable out-of-pocket lot or impound fees and, additionally, for the inconvenience experienced. Turo will not reimburse owners for repossessed vehicles.

To request reimbursement, upload copies of invoices and/or receipts to **Trip photos** and then contact customer support. Tap the "Get help" button below to reach our AI assistant and ask to be connected to an agent.
