## View claims dashboard

You can access your claims dashboard to view the status of existing damage claims or take action on cases you’re resolving damage directly with a guest. To reach your claims dashboard from the host menu, tap/click **Business,** open the **Claims** tab, and open the trip with the damaged vehicle.

## Request payment when resolving directly with your guest

If you chose to resolve directly with a guest when you reported damage, you can send them an invoice for damage from your claims dashboard.

Open the applicable trip to start your invoice, complete the following information, then tap/click **“Send.”**

* **Amount you’re requesting.** Request only the cost of repairs and no more

* **Additional evidence.** Include items such as your repair shop’s invoice, receipts, or screenshots of the guest agreeing to pay the amount you’re requesting

* **Message to guest** (optional). Add other details that help explain the invoice upload photos and include a note to the guest to help them understand the scope of the damage.

Send an invoice for damage as soon as you can. If a guest disputes the invoice, you can cancel it and send a new one for a revised amount, or you can tap or click **“Escalate to Turo”** from the dashboard. Once you escalate, we’ll prompt you to file a claim with Turo, and our Claims team will manage it for you.

**Tip:** You don’t have to wait for a disputed invoice to escalate to Turo. If you and your guest are unable to resolve this directly, you have 20 days from the trip’s end to escalate, file a claim, and have Turo take over.
